Czech Players Suspended Following Scandal

Czech Republic Sack Rada, Ban Six Players Indefinitely

With their hopes of qualifying for South Africa on the brink of destruction, the Czech Republic higher ups have sacked head coach Petr Rada and held up the indefinite suspensions of SIX of their Internationals due to a breach of discipline which led to Captain Tomas Ujfalusi announcing his immediate retirement from all future games.

Capello Names England Squad

No Dean Ashton, no Peter Crouch and surprisingly no Darren Bent, while Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry was named despite all the confusion over his on again / off again move to Liverpool.

Nedved Agrees To Another Season With Juve

35 year old Czech Pavel Nedved has agreed to a one year contract worth 3 million Euro with Juve, ending speculation that he was done with i bianconeri.

Now the question is whether Nedved will return to the National Team set up with Rosicky out.  Not looking too good.

Rosicky Out Of 2008 Euros

We knew it was coming since he’d not played since January for Arsenal, but that doesn’t make it any easier as Tomas Rosicky has officially pulled out from the tourney.

With Pavel Nedved retiring after the 2006 World Cup, looks like all the midfield creativity might struggle a bit.
