Different look at the situation…

Pretty much everyone has seen an excerpt or two from Grant Wahl’s upcoming “Beckham Experiment” that’s conveniently set to drop / sell on July 14th, but Grahame Jones of the LA Times got Landon Donovan to open up for the first time since the quotes hit the internet a week or so ago.

Sports Illustrated featured its Fortunate 50 list, displaying the top earning American athletes, and as you probably guessed it, its topped by Tiger Woods, who earned close to $100 milli in 2008($99,737,626 to be exact according to Fortune). This is crazy when you think that the figure is bigger than the next two guys combined, Phil Mickelson($52m) and LeBron James($42m). Its even crazier when you remembered that he missed half of the season because he was trying to play golf(and winning) with a blown out knee and a broken leg! Yesterday I tried to play golf slightly hung and my swing looked like I didn’t know my arse from my elbow.

Anyways, this is a futbol site and it is definitely It’s boom time for foreign-born athletes. Despite the slow economy, the average earnings of the top 20 non-American sportsmen are at an all-time high $29.5 million. In all, this year’s list features seven soccer players. I’m sure most of you know that famed soccer writed Grant Wahl is getting set to release a book called “The Beckham Experiment.” The book drops July 14th, but check this excerpt from the book. Pretty interesting stuff. I have a feeling this book will be very, very interesting.

New ad set to drop tomorrow during the Champions League Final.

First look at some upcoming sneaks from the upcoming adidas Originals by Originals capsule for 2009-2010 fall/winter that features James Bond of Undefeated working with David Beckham. I’m curious to see more of what they have on deck. In the meantime, these blue kicks are kinda hot…
