Conor Casey and the Colorado Rapids head to the nation’s capital to take on Dwayne De Rosario and DC United in midweek MLS action. Conor Casey made is first start of the season for the Rapids while DC Head Coach, Ben Olsen made some changed to the lineup including a rare start for Hamdi Salihi.

MISSION: To introduce the sport of soccer to youth in inner-city and underprivileged communities of the greater Washington, D.C. area. United Soccer Club (USC) partners with urban families, schools, recreation centers and community-based organizations in order to invest in the athletic, emotional and social welfare of the children living in the D.C Area.

METHOD: The mission is achieved by sending high-level coaches into select communities to teach the joy of the game, basic soccer skills, and a formal healthy life skills curriculum. Our program year consists of two ten-week seasons (Spring, Fall). Each season consists of 30 sessions and includes opportunities to play matches and see the D.C. United’s first team in action.
