Not too often do you see Jaime Moreno miss a penalty, but United keeps the 2008 version of the Atlantic Cup with the draw.

Victor MacFarlane, who runs MacFralane Partners and just happens to be one of the owners of DC United has put his San Fransisco penthouse on the market for $70 million large. Seriously…I couldn’t make this up even if I tried. I don’t even know what to say about this one, so I’m going to stop typing now.
New England is looking strong, but watch out for this late push by Houston who’ve won 4 in a row.
With the Seattle Sounders losing to the Charleston Battery in Pk’s tonight, it’s a DC United / Charleston Battery Final in the Lamar Hunt Open Cup next week.
Damn, Luciano Emilio is starting to find the back of the net more and more consistently.
Yesterday Beans threw up this picture of Rancid’s Branden Steineckert wearing a DC warm-up at the Team Shop when he was in town for last night’s Rancid concert at the 9:30 Club.
Now I didn’t want to get too involved in this, BUT…….
Here’s Branden representing his true colors.
See, I was fortunate enough to play with Branden and The Hooligans (big shout to the boys!) last winter up in the Salt Lake area with Nick Rimando, so I knew as soon as I saw those pics that something was wrong, especially considering the season tickets he’s got.
And Lars might be a San Jose supporter BUT his heart with always be Millwall!
Our boy Kyle just sent this one to us. Apparently Branden Steineckert from the bands Rancid and formerly of The Used is a DC United fan. It’s always good seeing cats like thgis step forward and make it known that they are not only soccer fans but that they support MLS clubs as well.

After the start of this game, I’m not sure anyone thought it would end up with this scoreline.
And how F-ing good is Juan Pablo Angel. Hands down first choice for me if I was choosing a starting 11.
I thought for sure Moreno was going to deck Pietravello.
We’ve already hipped you to the Adidas Dream MLS campaign and what they’ve been doing to spread the professional words of wisdom to the kids.
We’ve seen Parkhurst’s spot and now thanks to our guy Kyle Sheldon over at DC United’s Behind the Badge, we can now check out the Bolivian legend Jaime Morneo.
Kinda suiting that Moreno’s spot is about taking PK’s since he’s the king of goals from the spot.
I’m a big fan of the way this trade will work out for Ivan Guerrero and DC United.
Access United has put together a pretty sick preview of DC’s upcoming Semi-Final match up against SuperLiga Champions New England Revolution on August 12th.
