No Gabby Abonglahor, Frazier Cambell or Joe Hart for England as Germany absolutely demolishes them to take the U21 European Championships in Malmo, Sweden.

How good were Germany in this Tournament? Besides the fact they tied Spain 0 - 0, beat Finland 2 - 0 and tied England 1 - 1 in the Group Stage, they beat a star studded Italy 1 - 0 and with today’s result took their Title while only giving up one goal (by England’s Jack Rodwell) along the way.

Oh, and don’t forget Germany are the owners of the current Euro U17, U19 and now U21 crowns.

Four official “interest” bids to host the 2016 version of the UEFA European Football Championships came in before the self imposed March 9th deadline, three of which were single country hosting bids and the last being two countries interested in co - hosting the tournament.

Taken at the end of December in Latvia with an ice crystal explanation.

The lights were said to be a reflection caused by the light from streetlamps on the ground hitting ice crystals suspended in the cold air.
