The MLS All-Stars played Everton FC in Sandy, UT in an entertaining match that went to penalties. Plenty of people question the format of this event - MLS vs the foreign team - but to my eyes it gives the MLS players a little extra edge which adds to the game.

Anybody recognize this dude? This is Anton Peterlin who has been playing with the Ventura Fusion of the PDL and is looking set to sign with Everton. Imagine that move! From the PDL to the EPL! Wow! Crazy stuff. I can’t say much about this cat, because I don’t know anything about him. But I hope this deal goes through for him and I wish him lots of success. Time to put this dude on your watch list.
