If you are in Seattle this weekend, come kick it with us at Kells on Friday night. The fine folks from all the “Designated Players” sites will be hanging out and we want you to come kick it with us. We’ll be at Kells Irish Pub Friday night starting at 9pm. If you are in the Seattle area this weekend, come through. Nuff said. It’s going to be a great night and we hope all of you can make it by. There is a $5 cover at the door charged by Kells (none of which has to do with us nor will it be going to us).

Our boy kb recently got married, and for the honeymoon they decided some time on the beach in St. Lucia was  mandatory. He was able to snap a few photos of some locals playing soccer St. Lucia style. Not a bad location for a pick up game. And not a bad backdrop for a picture of the very first BP fitted we ever did. Hit the jump for some pictures.

Just received a copy of my boy Sirk’s new book chronicling the Columbus Crew’s 2008 MLS Championship Season, A Massive Season - Sirk’s Notebook Chronicles The 2008 Columbus Crew.

If you get the chance, pick up a copy (even if you’re not a Crew supporter and also available at Amazon.com) and see the personalities behind the names on the back of the jerseys through Sirk’s eyes.

And yes, Duncs (unfortunately for both Dante and myself) continues to play a major role behind the scenes and in the locker room for the Crew.

Been a rough 24+ hours for everyone…. But during the 9th minute of tonight’s World Cup Qualifier between the United States and Costa Rica, step up and represent the way Chuck D9 would.

Between Rizzle telling me how amazing this movie is, and all the hype surrounding the Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, I’m getting pretty excited for it to finally hit theaters. Rizzle and Verne are starting to hit the road for press and then the premier of the movie in different markets, and I think the London debut is first up. If you haven’t seen it yet, check the trailer, and also check out our boy Verne’s brand spanking new website. The site looks good playa!

Got a call from Rizzle today that his Aunt Sue was in town, and that Verne had an appearance at a charity golf tournament not too far from the crib. So I headed out to link and catch up with some friends.
