Newcastle fans have formally launched a campaign to buy the club as they look to raise funds from banks, businesses and fellow supporters.
Sportswear tycoon Mike Ashley recently took the club off the market - for the second time - after revealing he was prepared to part with the club for around £80 million. Ashley has faced repeated supporter demonstrations against his tenure, and last week incensed fans by changing the name of the club’s famous old ground to the sportsdirect.com@St James’ Park Stadium. It’s been a long time since Honduras has qualified for a World Cup, and for a country as passionate about soccer as Honduras is, tonight was a pretty special night for the country. A last minute equalizer from the US ensured a Honduran World Cup birth, and as you can tell at the end of this video, Hondurans kind of love the USA right now.
