Pretty massive game for both sides Saturday on FSC.

It was “Buck a Brat” and “Dollar Beer Night” for the Thursday ESPN2 game, plus if you bought two tickets online you received a “Super Cooper” t-shirt.  Still, this was not a great example of “the beautiful game” and the attendance issues at FCD continue to be a concern. 

Cooper is showing no signs of slowing down btw.

FC Dallas jumped all over the Chicago Fire in Bridgeview, IL on Sunday afternoon to put the team back in the hunt for the final playoff spot.  

Big week for Cunny, his wife gave birth to a baby daughter, Mikayla Jane Cunningham, plus he scored a couple goals.  Notice his first goal celebration.  Congratulations.

Last weekend FC Dallas took on Mexican side America in a “Friendly” down in Frisco and our boy / sometime contributer Jamie Watson just about got his leg broken near the end of the match.

Right about the 1.45 mark.  Good to see Kenny Cooper go after the guy and protect his teammates.

FCD has suspended negotiations with forward Kenny Cooper, who attracted interest from SK Rosenborg and Cardiff City during the summer international transfer window. Those negotiations will resume at the end of the season, if not before. Cooper will likely ask for Designated Player money. Even if it doesn’t make him a DP, FC Dallas is getting ready to spend a lot of money on him or someone else. His base salary is $80,000 for this season.
