FIFA has banned Manchester United center back Nemanja Vidic one match for the Red Card earned during December’s FIFA World Club final in Japan, meaning he will miss the first leg Champions League match against Inter on February 24th at the San Siro.
FIFA has called on potential bidders for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to express their interest by February 2. England, Spain and Portugal, Netherlands and Belgium, Australia, China, Mexico, Russia and the United States have all expressed interest.

After an extremely unsettling summer that saw Cristiano Ronaldo linked with Real Madrid and undergo ankle surgery that forced him to miss the first couple of matches of the 2008 / 09 season, the Portuguese winger has publicly stated his happiness at Manchester United and his desire to stay.

FIFA has suspended the Peruvian football association (FPF) with immediate effect from 25 November, in accordance with article 14 of the FIFA Statutes and carrying the sanctions provided for in paragraph 3 of that article, namely: the suspension of all international sporting contact for its clubs, national teams, referees and officials.
