Real Madrid has fined midfielder Mahamadou Diarra one month's salary (300,000 Euro) for returning late from African Nations Cup duty with Mali. Although they didn't even make it out of the first round, Real Madrid formally sent a letter stating he would be fined and Diarra will have ten days to respond.

6 month suspended sentence

The guy that knocked Dudu Aouate the f*ck out, Gustavo Munua was today given a 6 month suspended sentence as is customary on first offenses. He did however have to pay a $5,235 fine.

Chelsea Football Club have just been fined 40,ooo pound for "Failing to control it's players" once again. Michael Essien was sent off for bitch slapping Derby's Kenny Miller in a 2-nil win in November. This fine followed up the 30,000 pound fine for the same offense against Man Utd in September.
