After torching Premiership defenses for fun, Thierry Henry’s La Liga adjustment took just a little bit longer than we all expected. But I think it’s safe to say he’s back to the form we all love, making defenders look stupid when giving too much space.

Rafa Benitez’ rotation policy is gonna take a new hit as Fernando Torres was injured on Spanish duty.  The impressive forward who’s netted 19 times so far this season for Liverpool limped off against France around the 23rd minute mark  in a 1-0 win for Spain.  You have to think he’s a doubt for the game against Chelsea and Champions League final 16 against Inter.

French President whatever his name is has officially married girlfriend Carla Bruni in Paris. The former Supermodel and Singer has in the past been linked with Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and THE Donald Trump.  Someone allegedly heard Sarkozy say “it’s good to be the King”.

France coach Raymond Domenech has once again left David Trezeguet out of his squad, this time for France’s friendlies against the Congo and Spain. After this last snub, the Juve hitman has gone public, finally conceding that he won’t be a part of Domenech’s plans for this summers Euro 2008.
