Team England trains for their match against Kazakhstan (…paging Sascha Baron Cohen). Match will be live on FSC at 12pm Eastern.

Capello must run these guys hard, because no one looks happy here, save maybe Rooney.

Frank Lampard Beach

You’ve got to give it to Jose Mourinho.  The guy knows how to wiggle.

“I cannot forget Deco, Lampard and Drogba. These are players who I could never say no to. I would love to work with them again in the future, but I am not too obsessed with this idea. I don’t know which of these three will leave their clubs but we will see.”

Inter Opening Talks With Chelsea For Lampard?

Filed under: Chelsea, Frank Lampard, Inter Milan

Frank Lampard

It’s been a season to forget for Frank Lampard and not because of his play.

With the loss of his Mother to the Premiership and Champions League disappointment on top of losing his type of coach in Jose Mourinho, it’s easy to understand why a change of scenery might be on the cards for the English midfielder.

Now Inter owner Massimo Moratti has spoken publicly about the Italians contact with Chelsea over the services of Frank Lampard.

Mourinho Klar For Inter With Deco And Lampard On The Way?

Filed under: Frank Lampard, Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho

DOUBLE UPDATEThose pesky Swedes at the Aftonbladet were right last week!

Mourinho klar for Inter.

UPDATE - Roberto Mancini’s agent has confirmed that the Italian legend HAS left Inter Milan. Take a look near the bottom of the article confirming Jose Mourinho’s arrival in Milan and the announcement set for tomorrow.

My question is how can Inter President Massimo Moratti part ways with Mancini after only a 25 minute meeting? Sounds like this was lined up for a decent amount of time.

Jose Mourinho

The largest newspaper in Sweden (Aftonbladet) is reporting that Jose Mourinho has signed with Inter Milan to be their new coach and he’s taking Deco and Frank Lampard with him.

They say the three year contract is worth over $11 million and he should be presented to the press this afternoon.

Frank Lampard

Family, friends and teammates gathered today for the funeral of Frank Lampard’s mother, Pat in Barking, England.

The 58 year old had passed after a bout with pneumonia last week and son Frank played a crucial role in Chelsea’s Champions League Semi-Final victory over Liverpool in which he scored a penalty, playing the entire match and dedicating both the goal and the match to his beloved mother.

Coming out and blasting younger, succesull players is part and parcel in the game of football.  It’s been done in the past and will continue in the future but today Chelsea and England International Frank Lampard has publicly come out and is speaking his mind.  Lampard believes his success is based on his time at West Ham and his experiences as a boot boy, kit kid and paying the price of youth with mandatory double days.

When you’re a Premiership and England star, security is of the utmost importance.  Frank Lampard had already been burgled once, vowed to protect himself afterwards and this is his welcoming committee now.  Senor Lampard has two trained Bullmastiffs at the gate after losing three cars in the last snatch and grab.
