If you are in Seattle this weekend, come kick it with us at Kells on Friday night. The fine folks from all the “Designated Players” sites will be hanging out and we want you to come kick it with us. I had posted a little something on these adidas boots awhile back. I couldn’t find much information other than the fact that they were a limited release and that they are blazing hot! After putting them up the first time, I got an email from our boy Greg over at The Glove Bag letting me know that he had one pair in stock and that he would ship them out for me. When I saw today’s package on the doorstep with his name on it I knew I was in for a treat. These boots are definitely much simpler than the boots of today, but there is something so perfect about the design, the clean lines, and the attention to the craftsmanship.

My boy Jacy up at Nike has a similar soft spot for sneakers just like me. He also has been known to participate in the #todayskicks on Twitter, which I have yet to jump in on. I check all the twitpics everyone puts up of their kicks from that day, but have never posted my own for some reason.  That stops here and now.

Today the mailman drops off a package for me from Nike, and inside are the Air Max’s you see above. So I’m going to jump in on my first #todayskicks with these Air Max’s in this OG colorway. I’m officially in the game now!

We take a lot of pictures in our daily lives. They represent experiences and events that we somehow manage to finagle ourselves into on a pretty consistent basis. Some are soccer related, some have seemingly little to do with the sport, but they all have something to do with the lifestyle that we live. I’ve been getting more and more requests to share more pictures, so I figured it’s a good time to start posting more on here. Some might seem pretty obscure or incredibly random, but so is a majority of my life…so that kind of works.

Just got this picture sent in of our boy Lonnie in the LA Aztecs t-shirt somewhere in Thailand.

We headed down to Hollywood Park on Saturday to support our boy Robert, and his horse Star Nicholas who was running its biggest race to date. Star Nicholas came through, did his thing and will be moving on to bigger races. Congrats to Robert and his dad, and thanks for being gracious hosts as always!

Our boy Robert is among the ownership group of Star Nicholas,  and so on Saturday a few of us headed down to Hollywood Park to check out his horse race. Star Nicholas has had some pretty impressive wins so far, and was among the favorites to win this weekend. Before the race we headed down to the “paddock” to see Star Nicholas up close before the race.
