Casiraghi Names Rossi To Olympic Squad

Former Chelsea striker Pierluigi Casiraghi (and his former Chelsea drop-back forward, Assistant Gianfranco Zola) have named their official 2008 Olympic Squad that’s heading for Beijing.

He won’t play for the US ever!

We’ll all have to get over it and just deal with it.  He might be the best player to never wear the US National Team jersey and last night, Villareal and Italy U21 Giuseppe Rossi scored the winner in a 2-1 win over Holland in Italy.  Although both teams have qualified for the summer Olympics, this friendly was an important one in the buildup to Beijing.
