Return of the Boys… the Maserati? really?!!
Filed under: Hollywood, TV, UncategorizedEpisode 1 … Ive got the east coast feed….
Great first episode for Vinnie and the boys…. the opening scene is of Medellin getting an absolutely aweful review, but we knew that was coming given the reception at Cannes. The movie is bad… so bad, that it turns out it is going straight to dvd.
On a side note as we see E and Drama at the casa shooting the ish … why do these cats still live together? This is something that I have never figured out.
Even as we are getting the feeling that the horrible review is all over the place, and Vince is on his way to being the next Jared Leto, we come to see that Vince and Turtle are hiding away in Mexico living the high life for 79 bucks a day, and they couldn’t care less about the state of his career.
:::: They have stepped up the production budget this year, big time ::::
This is how a Mexico vacation should be. The last time I was on a Mexican vacation, i realized my girlfriend pretty much hated me and i spent the middle day and a half of a week long trip on the pot evacuating my colon due to the chicharron i bought from some dude named Pedro pushing a cart on the beach. ummmm, anyways…

Soft drinks giant Coca-Cola has agreed to a £5million deal to plug its brand alongside the movie. Limited edition black bottles and a special Coca-Cola Zero Zero Seven logo have even been created to tie-in with the 007 title.
‘Bond has to move with the times,’ an industry source tells the Daily Star.
‘And if that means switching drinks then so be it.’

Samuel Jackson Annoyed by Lack of “Titties” in New Film
Filed under: Hollywood, Humor, Movies“Lakeview Terrace”, the new Samuel Jackson vehicle, is clearly ”
Unlawful Entry” meets “Training Day”. But you have to laugh at these comments by Mr. Jackson on the PG rated family friendly cut of his new movie.
He explains, “There is a big scene in this movie that is really great. It is a bachelor party, and we have three strippers at the party. But it is a PG movie, so there aren’t any titties. We have three strippers at the party, and none of them have their top off.
“How does that work? I’m like, come on! You could show the girl from the back, with her back bare. At least it gives a sense that she was naked. You can’t just show them in their bras and panties. You have forty drunken cops in a house with three strippers? And nobody is naked? I don’t f***ing think so!”

A Year Later: The Fugees
Filed under: Hollywood, Movies, Soccer Saved My Life, Social IssuesAbout a year and a half ago a remarkable article you may have read came out in the Sunday NY Times about a group of young soccer players in Georgia. Called “Refugees Find Hostility and Hope on Soccer Field“, by Warren St. John, it was a sad but ultimately hopeful piece about overcoming obstacles and finding success in a new country. The story got a lot of play and was quickly sold to Universal for $3 million and will be made into a movie tentatively called “The Fugees” (writer Andrea Berloff is attached).
I was interested in what happened to the kids a year on, and found this recent write up. Many positive things have come from the story: fields have been built, uniforms donated, etc. Perhaps most importantly, several of the players have been accepted to private schools in the area and others are going on to college and building on their success.
When the movie comes out, this story will blow up huge. BTW, I can’t imagine that every actress in Hollywood won’t want the part of that coach.
Cristiano Ronaldo In LA
Filed under: Cristiano Ronaldo, Hollywood, InjuriesCristiano Ronaldo is all over the papers out here in LA this morning after hitting up hotspot restaurant STK (and our girl Emily Olsen who hooked up Jay, Timmy, Steve, Ryan, Los and Myself the week of the Barbados match) last night before making the jaunt over to Hollywood club Villa.
Seems like every site in the world is running with Ronaldo snubbing Paris Hilton.
I’m just glad someone is seeing the potential that Cristiano has in America. If there’s one person that could have the international effect that David Beckham has had in terms of global marketing, it’s Ronaldo.

Spielberg and Katzenbeg Vs Viacom and Paramount
Filed under: Fights, HollywoodWhoever thought that when a fight broke out between Dreamwork’s Steven Speilberg / Jeffrey Katzenberg and Viacom’s Paramount Pictures that India based Reliance ADA Group would be the ones coming in with $500-600 Million to finance the departure?
