Rosicky Trying To Make It Back Before End Of Season

Czech International and Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is allegedly on the mend following more than a year on the sidelines after injuring a tendon in his left knee against Newcastle in an FA Cup match in late January 2008.  Fighting through subsequent back to back knee surgeries and missing out on Euro 2008, the 28 year old is still hoping to play some type of role in Wenger’s squad before the end of the season.

Ronaldo Gets 27 Minutes And A Black Eye In Return

Looking physically better than we’ve seen him during the last 13 months of recovery following his 3rd full ACL Reconstruction, Ronaldo came in as a substitute for the last 27 minutes of Corinthians 2 - 0 win over Itumbiara in the Brazilian Cup and afterwards took a microphone to the right side of his face when the press swarmed onto the field, causing a black eye.
