Jay-Z and Beyonce are taking their international celebrity status to new heights and performing for their fans at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Fifa or the Federation Internationale De Football Association asked the Grammy winning artist and her husband to perform for a kick-off concert of the upcoming soccer finals. (more…)
Entourage still gets played live on the BP_TOW frathouse flatscreen every Sunday night. Some may think that the show isn’t what it used to be, and that may be true, but its still good television and worth tuning in. Anyways, the season ended this past Sunday and here is the Jay Z joint played at the end of the ep. You may not know, but this is off the Streets Is Watching Soundtrack. I’ve got this VHS somewhere but finding it wont do me any good, who has a VHS tape player thingy anyways… what were they called again VCRs? Anyhow…enjoy. (more…)
N.E.R.D., Wale and J. Cole have signed on to The Live Nation produced Jay-Z North American College / Blueprint 3 Tour, with dates and tour schedule after the jump.
Look, here at the BP_TOW frathouse, we keep Jay on heavy rotation… This album started at an 8 for me the day I got a copy and its getting better with every listen. First week out, dude sold 475k+ albums in an environment where you don’t really sell records anymore… crazy… Here is a cool look at what went into the album artwork… check out the interview after the jump with the photog that made it happen… (more…)
Promo for the new Jay Leno show has been heavy. I’ve seen dudes faced plastered everywhere, and NBC has not been playing on the setup for this show. The first show featured Seinfeld and a performance by Jay Z, Rihanna and Kanye West. It might not have been planned, but the Kanye VMA controversy could not have hurt the buzz for the launch of Jay Leno’s show.
I’m a well documented Jay Z fan, so I’m sure you knew this video was gonna get posted. Plus, Rihanna looked incredible. That outfit she wore gets two thumbs up from this guy!
If you wanna see Kanye try and apologize for his VMA outburst, hit the jump. If you’re over it and choose to ignore it, I understand.
