Different look at the situation…

With Dunny in town to call the LA Galaxy v NE Revolution game over the weekend, a few of us headed down to The Home Depot Center to catch the game, watch some fireworks and then hang at the beach post game. This was one of my favorite types of games to go to. The kind where I got to take a couple of friends that had never been to a professional soccer game before.

This is what we need more of… The Galaxy did a fantastic job of allowing Donovan Ricketts the opportunity to show his personality while reminding people how good he’s been this year.

I headed down to The Home Depot Center to check out the LA Galaxy Alumni v MLS Alumni game, the LA Galaxy v Real Salt Lake game and catch up with some folks. The alumni game had some dudes playing I haven’t seen or talked to in a looooong time and the Galaxy v RSL game was entertaining. Some pics from the evening after the jump.

Champions League finalists Barcelona will face the LA Galaxy on Saturday, August 1 at 8 p.m. at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA as part of a North American tour it was announced today.
