Score one more for the lifestyle of soccer fam. Got That New? gave Bumpy Pitch some love today, and that ultimately means that another site is showing love to the lifetsyle that we are all a part of. Much respect…
You either love him or you hate him, period. I love the dude… It was only a matter of time before he dropped this joint… You gotta watch it one time all the way through, because its hilarious. Heavy Language alert definitely NSFW
His rhymes start out a little weak, but he actually gets kind of hot toward the end. Ciroc Obama 2008
‘I will never stay to live in England, that’s for sure,’ said Vidic in a Russian magazine. ‘The climate here is something special! You get only a brief glimpse of sunlight before it’s all cloudy again. The winters are mild but in summer the temperatures seldom go higher than 20 degrees Celsius. And it rains, rains, rains! In England they say that Manchester is the city of rain. Its main attraction is considered to be a timetable at the railway station where trains leave for other, less rainy cities!’ As if the rain isn’t enough to moan about, he criticises the joyless way of life and admits he misses the social life he enjoyed with his team-mates in Moscow….
….Clearly he needs a quality WAG to spice up life in gloomy Madchester.
Tomorrow night thousands of young men and women with the most fit, toned bodies in the world will mingle for the last time before they fly home. What might they get up to?
Rumor has it that Canada is strongly considering banning MIA from entering the country due to her possible terrorist connections.

Maya Arulpragasamis a Sri Lankan ethnic Tamil who spent much of her childhood in England. Her estranged father is credited as a cofounder of a militant pro-Tamil group EROS, which, in turn, was once linked to the Tamil Tigers. The Tigers have been labeled a terrorist group by many countries, including the United States.
From comment poster RLM, “PLEASE NOTE that the song, Paper Planes, isn’t about terrorism, it is a sarcastic jab at her inability to obtain a visa during the recording of Kala, and how some Americans views immigrants as drug dealers, murderers, etc. Also her estranged father is no longer active. ARULAR is more of a concept album about the civil war in Sri Lanka, about the images she saw while visiting, etc.”
London’s Victoria and Albert Museum is running an exhibition that opens this week that examines the relationship between fashion and sport. Sport and fashion are becoming more intertwined as they both continue to influence the design and aesthetic of one another. This is actually something that we talk about all the time as we continue to develop Bumpy Pitch and explore/define the relationship between soccer, culture, fashion and lifestyle. Great to see that a museum as respected as the Victoria and Albert Museum are exploring this as well. If you are in London you can check out the exhibit which will run through January 4th.
