“Major League Soccer, the Houston Dynamo, and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment will officially announce that the 2010 MLS All-Star Game will be held at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, not Robertson Stadium.”

The MLS appears to be going “big-time” with next year’s match at the 72,000 seat stadium here in beautiful H-town.  You have to think the MLS will consider scheduling a big Mexican side to maximize the crowd - which would make it an “away” game for the All-Stars, no doubt.

This result for Mexico just opened up the top four spots in CONCACAF Qualifying.

As the MLS season heads into what should be an exciting month, I thought you’d be interested in knowing that players from around the league will offer a new set of winning skills for their younger fans, as Goal Celebration Specialists for the Volkswagen Junior Masters World Tournament.

In a new series of videos for the Volkswagen Junior Masters – the first international youth soccer tournament of its kind in the U.S. – the eight MLS stars show off their favorite and most unique ways to celebrate big goals. The videos will go live later this week at VWJRMasters, on YouTube, and on Facebook, as well as additional media outlets.

According to Patrick Vieira, this will be his last season with Inter, and he is interested in making a move to MLS.  “I would like to try an experience in the United States, Youri Djorkaeff has convinced me.” That would be a pretty huge signing for MLS and whatever club he ended up with.
