U2’s concert at the Rose Bowl shattered attendance records at the venue as more than 100,000 people, including Rose Bowl staff, took in the band’s Southern California stop on its 360 Tour, according to the venue’s general manager, Darryl Dunn. Yet the number of fans who watched the concert online probably dwarfs that tally.
Final figures aren’t in yet from Google-owned YouTube, which streamed the concert live, but the page housing the concert has received close to 7 million “channel views.”
Ok look, I know I know.. this $h** is terrible, but I happened to hear it for like 30 seconds and now its stuck. If I have to suffer YOU have to suffer, because if you say that you can get this song out of your head YOU-ARE-LYING !!! I just have a strange feeling that this is one of those songs that we will hear waaaaaay too much of. I do like that beat though…
I posted more on this song again for two reasons… one the song is still hot and I have listened to it all weekend, and also because I love the use of Miami Vice. The movie, to some, was terrible. I thought it was pretty bad too, story wise-acting wise-otherwise, but it is somehow extremely re-watchable. Whenever I’m surfing and catch it on cable I have to finish, weird right?
Cordazar Calvin Broadus (born October 20, 1971), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, is a Grammy Award-nominated American rapper, record producer, and actor. Snoop is best known as an MC in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of producer Dr. Dre’s most notable protégés. He popularized the catch phrase suffix “-izzle,” a slang term or infix that had been in use for decades, but not nearly to the extent that it currently permeates the pop and hip hop music industry as well as general usage. As a solo artist, Snoop Dogg has sold more than 12.5 million records in the United States
