How can Tribe not take you back to that place?

Thank you MTV! For way too long now there hasn’t been any music on MTV. The channel has been taken over by reality shows while music videos have just faded away. Well it looks like MTV is trying to rectify this problem, and has put every single music video from their archives on their new website. All are high quality and embeddable. This really is fantastic news…although it also has the ability to slow my productivity to a crawl. If you need me, I’ll be in the MTV archives…

First it was the Grey Album where Danger Mouse mashed up Jay Z’s Black Album with The Beatles’ White Album. Now Mick Boogie and Terry Urban (along with a laundry list of guest producers) have done a new mashup album involving Jay Z, this time with Coldplay. There are 19 tracks on this mixtape and you can download it here.
