Every once in awhile I need myself some double disk (think Black and Yellow) Wu…. And today is that day that I also needed a reminder of my youth alongside the Wu, coming by way of The Flinstones and fighting Ninja’s… Weird how that all came together.

Entourage still gets played live on the BP_TOW frathouse flatscreen every Sunday night. Some may think that the show isn’t what it used to be, and that may be true, but its still good television and worth tuning in. Anyways, the season ended this past Sunday and here is the Jay Z joint played at the end of the ep. You may not know, but this is off the Streets Is Watching Soundtrack. I’ve got this VHS somewhere but finding it wont do me any good, who has a VHS tape player thingy anyways… what were they called again VCRs? Anyhow…enjoy. (more…)

Incredibly cheesy and yet genius at the same time.

It’s been awhile since Shyne went to Riker’s for his role in the Diddy X Jennifer Lopez 1999 New York Nightclub shooting…. But the 30 year old was released today after serving 8+ years of a 10 year sentence behind bars.

Takes an incredible amount of guts to release something like this…. Pretty amazing way to present a drug war and the violence associated with it through a music video.

From Q Tips 2008 album The Renaissance, this song and video was a great way to start off Tuesday. Sometimes collabs between artists don’t work particularly well or are just blah…but this one worked out very well. Norah Jones doesn’t get down on too many hip hop tracks, which kind of makes this even better. Enjoy.
