Nike iD With Theo Walcott

Filed under: Nike, Theo Walcott, Videos

Pretty sick to let his fans design the boots he’ll wear.  I can’t even imagine what it’d be like to be a young kid today with endless amounts of money.

Beans and I still laugh about the 50 bucks our Mom’s gave us for Copa’s once a year and how we were still 27 dollars short.

Lance Mountain | Craig Stecyk x Nike SB Blazer

Lance-Mountain-Craig Stecyk x Nike-SB-Blazer

Being a young kid in the 80’s here in LA meant that one of the things that you did was skateboard. One of the skaters at that time we looked up to was Lance Mountain, one of the OG riders for Bones Brigade. Lance teamed up with another legend, Craig Stecyk, whose work helped lead to the Z Boys documentary as well as founding art magazine Juxtapoz, to work on these Nike Blazers. An almost entirely orange sneaker can be a tough one to pull off, but I like the outcome of this one. Not sure of  a realese date yet, but they should be part of an upcoming SB release pack.

Nike Air 1 Premium

Not only do these Nike Air 1 Premiums look comfy at $90, but they’d be perfect with a pair of jeans.

Basically getting roasted by his boys, Cannavaro seemingly takes it pretty well.

Nike 6.0 Ill Mobile

nike-ill-mobile

Check out the new Nike 6.0 Ill Mobile.

“The 8-wheeled ill-mobile is capable of crossing deserts, climbing mountains and taking the team to any secret spot. Racks for bikes, surfboards, wakeboards, skateboards, mean going anywhere for any scene. There’s an on deck bbq for grilling up fresh meat, a deluxe camper shell salvaged from a junkyard in remote corner of Oregon and a basement couch for a front seat.

Rails to grind are featured on both sides, and a quarter pipe folds down for impromptu sessions. The stereo system requires 2 car batteries, a set of jumper cables and a little luck, but once it’s blasting, it’s like a stick of dynamite in your eardrum.”

I gotta say this is one interesting mobile vehicle.  You know that wherever this thing goes, it’s going to get everybody’s attention. The perfect mix of marketing, functionality and allowing people to interact with it. Big ups to Nike for this one. More pics after the jump.
