I first read about this on Twitter, and then over at CBS. Drew Carey has pledged that he will donate $1 million to Livestrong if he gets 1 million followers on Twitter by the end of the year. Drew Carey joins a couple other celebs, like Ashton Kutcher and Hugh Jackman have both pledged money to charities using Twitter to raise attention.

Soccer in the Streets is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this Sunday in Atlanta. If you are in the area, head down to Piedmont Park and join in on the celebrations and get involved. For those unfamiliar with Soccer in the streets, here’s a little bit about them.
