We get geeked out on cameras around here, so when I saw that Urban Ootfitters is partnering with Polaroid to present a limited edition of 700 hand-numbered deadstock Polaroid camera kits, I got super excited.

This exclusive Urban Outfitters special edition will include one pack of deadstock Polaroid Instant Film and one of the most sought after analog instant cameras: the Polaroid One600 classic, the last Polaroid camera ever produced.

Along with the kits, Urban Outfitters will offer additional deadstock original Polaroid Type 779 Instant Film saved from the last production runs made at the last Polaroid factory in Enschede, Netherlands. The film has been hand-selected, tested, and stored at low temperatures exclusively for Urban Outfitters.

In conjunction with the release of the special edition Polaroid film and camera kits, Gallery space at space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles is hosting a month-long group show of Polaroid photography. The original Polaroid instant photographs on view in Everything is Possible will reflect the unlimited possibilities of working with this unique format.

They say soccer is the beautiful game, so it’s natural that it would photograph well. I was cruising the Interwebs tonight looking at some soccer pictures from around the world and wanted to share some of what I found. Some I have seen a thousand times, but that doesn’t make them any less perfect than they have always been. Chelsea owner and billionaire Roman Abramovich is all smiles before their match against Hull City at Stamford Bridge, while girlfriend Dasha Zhukova appears lost in thought.

Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas holds up a shirt in honour of Espanyol captain Daniel Jarque during their EPL match against Everton at Goodison Park.   The Espanyol captain recently died from a heart attack while on a pre-season training camp in Italy.
