The guy dropped 16 goals in 69 matches with Arsenal and then forced his way out to get back to Spain with Real Madrid, even if it was on LOAN for Julio “The Beast” Baptista.
The “fan” who threw a bottle at then Sevilla head coach Juande Ramos has been found guilty of assault and was ordered to pay $7,066 in fines and only $544 to Ramos himself. Sevilla had just taken a 1-nil lead against Real Betis in last season Copa del Rey (which they went on to win) when the bottle was thrown and the match was abandoned shortly afterwards.
The perp hasn’t been named, but he has also been banned from all sporting matches for two whole years! Well done Spain, well done.
