There are many “New Zizou’s”, but only Enzo is his true son, and he has just been called up to the Spanish u-15’s.

Enzo’s mother is from Spain and the youngster has spent over half his life living in Madrid following his father’s move from Juventus.

The Spanish National Team model their new kits (and African warpaint?) to be worn at this summer’s FIFA Confederation’s Cup.

Wait, what !?! This guy is chugging down some vino from a Spanish wineskin and holding a Cohiba. In LA you gotta pay 8 bucks for 10 ounces of bad beer and they make you stand in a certain designated spot/leave earth to take down a lung dart. Rudy Fernandez, a member of the Portland Trailblazers who was born in Spain, was selected by fans to participate in the NBAs all-star weekends dunk contest. The other three contestants picked were by the NBA. He will face stiff competition in the contest from those players, all with previous experience in the event but he has something up his sleeve.

Sources inside the Blazers’ practice facility said Fernandez has at least three dunks that he hopes will impress the judges and, more importantly, the fans.

Those same sources said the rookie guard apparently has a name for one of his dunks: “El Conquistador,” which is expected to include a soccer move.

Sounds interesting, can’t wait to see it!

Jozy Altidore has officially been loaned to Xerez, who currently sit in first place in the Spanish second division. Lots of people expected some loan deal like this for him as it should significantly increase the amount of time he sees on the field the remainder of the season. Besides the value of more playing time, it would be a very good look for Jozy if he can help Xerez clinch promotion.

Having not been paid for four long months, the players of Spanish 3rd Division Granada FC took it upon themselves to make an incredible protest during their match with Melilla last weekend, before eventually playing.
