Dynamo Stadium Rally, 1/16/10
Regular readers may remember us recently visiting the proposed Houston Dynamo Stadium site. This past Saturday, Dynamo fans held the first of three rallies to support construction of a new facility. The next rally is scheduled for February 20th.

USA World Cup Bid Cities Press Conference
Eighteen cities have been selected as the official host cities for the United States' Bid for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. Each city could see World Cup matches in their venues if the US is awarded the honor of hosting the world's largest sporting event.

Chicago’s Soldier Field Considering Removing Grass
This week, the Chicago Park District completely re-sodded Soldier Field at a cost of approximately $250,000. It was the second time in 11 weeks the field was re-sodded.

MLS in Minnesota?
The design for what would be a new $870 million home for the Minnesota Vikings on the site of the Metrodome was unveiled Thursday.
Buried at the end of the article is a brief note confirming that the new stadium would be soccer compatible and the Vikings owners are interested in a MLS team.
