Kansas City Stadium Project Begins

The destruction of the exterior of what was formerly the Bannister Mall in southeast Kansas City began today, the first step in a project that will include a new 18,500 seat stadium for the Wizards.

Tampa Bay Rowdies Stadium Plan Rejected

The USL-1 Tampa Bay Rowdies plans for a new stadium in Hillsborough County (FL) were withdrawn after the County Commission stated the plans would be rejected. Residents from the cast of the Golden Girls community sighted inconvenience and noise issues as the major factors.

Houston’s Holiday Gift…A New Stadium?

The process is moving forward with the Houston Commission, with a conditional agreement to invest $10 million in the project.

“It is a time of giving,” said Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia on Wednesday. “If we can give all the soccer sports fans a stadium for them and get a deal together, that’s great.”
