After seeing an initial 4 + 2 match suspension and 85,000 Pound fine handed down by UEFA, Chelsea duo Didier Drogba and Jose Boswinga have had their bans reduced to 3 and 2 games, with the fine standing as is after their appeal was heard in Switzerland.
UEFA has taken another positive step towards eradicating in-stadium racism and racist chanting that has been plaguing European Football Stadiums by giving Referees and Match Officials new guidelines, including the power to abandon matches.
After scoring the official song of the U21 European Championships with “Get Up And Go”, Keren DeBerg’s overall Swedish experience has been pretty incredible.
Sweden has been amazing. Keren and I arrived in Halmsad, one of the tournament host cities, where she played a fanzone. We went off to Helsingborg for another and then down to Malmo.
