Platini Confirms Use Of 5 Referee’s For 09 / 10 UEFA Europa League
UEFA President Michel Platini has confirmed the long standing rumor that there will be two more referee's added to the upcoming 2009 / 10 UEFA Europa League following approval of the FIFA Executive Committee and Football's lawmakers, the International FA Board (IFAB), at their meeting in Nassau, Bahamas.

UEFA Cup Gets A New Name In 2009
Michel Platini has sexified the UEFA Cup for the 2009 season, re-naming the new look league the UEFA Europa League and adding to 48 clubs in 12 groups of 4, with the top two in each joining the 8 third place clubs in the Champions League 32 club knockout phase.
