Olympique Marseille vs Shaktar Donetsk - UEFA Cup Highlights

Definitely not the result you’d expect from Marseille after the form that’s taken them to the top of Ligue 1.  This result has me going back to the argument that it’s better to get the first leg at home, rather than having to go on the road, suffer defeat while not poaching a valuable away goal and be on the back foot, trying to push to get goals at home.

FSC’s Planned Expanded Coverage Of Champions League

The UEFA Champions League Quarter - Final draw is in with 1st leg dates locked in for April 7th and 8th, 2nd leg for April 14th and 15th. Semi - Finals start April 28th and 29th, the return 2nd leg May 5th and 6th.

UEFA President Won’t Rule Out Euro Super League

UEFA President and former French International Michel Platini is preparing to hear arguments for plans to create a “European Super League” after refusing to rule out the idea, one that would replace the current Champions League and UEFA Cup tournaments after some of the biggest clubs in the world had discussions to implement the idea recently.

UEFA Issues Hillsborough Tragedy Anniversary Statement

After media reports came out insinuating that Liverpool would be forced to play the second leg of their Champions League Quarter - Final match on Wednesday, April 15th (the 20th Anniversary of the Hillsborough Tragedy), UEFA President Michel Platini issued a statement clarifying their position.

2016 Euros Gets Four Hosting Bids

Four official “interest” bids to host the 2016 version of the UEFA European Football Championships came in before the self imposed March 9th deadline, three of which were single country hosting bids and the last being two countries interested in co - hosting the tournament.
