If you are in the LA area tomorrow, cruise by The Montalban Theatre to watch the USA v Costa Rica World Cup Qualifier. This theatre is the bizness, and if you remember, it features a rooftop field where you can play 3 v 3 pregame and at halftime. I’ll see you there.
ESPN is reporting:
Charlie Davies, a striker for the United States national soccer team, was involved in a one-car accident early Tuesday in which another person was killed, a USA Soccer spokeman said.
Davies was in surgery Tuesday afternoon and in stable condition, USA Soccer spokesman Neil Buethe said. The extent of his injuries were unknown, but Buethe said they were not life-threatening.
It is not known whether Davies was the driver or a passenger in the car.

US Soccer wasted no time in setting up a 2010 World Cup Qualified Friendly in Europe, with NRGI Park in Aarhus set to host Denmark against the United States on November 14th.
Denmark currently sit atop Group 1 (that includes Portugal and Sweden) with 21 points over the course of 9 matches and have yet to lose a game.
