The World’s Fastest Man , Usain Bolt, was at Bernabeu Stadium for the ceremonial kickoff between Real Madrid and Deportive Coruna.  Cool kicks, btw.

The Jamaican sprinting great captured the 200-meter gold medal in 19.19 seconds Thursday with yet another world record. Gitting his teeth and pointing to the clock as soon as the time flashed, Bolt is now 5 for 5 in major sprint events. He has won a gold medal each time with a world mark. (more…)

Exactly a year to the day since his landmark run of 9.69sec in China, Bolt became the only man in history ever to cross the line first in two successive major championship 100m finals record with a new world record to his name. Forget the figures, though; just gasp once more at the sight of the eighth wonder of the world.

USAIN BOLT stormed to a world’s best of 14.35 seconds over 150 metres on the streets of Manchester last night.

Bolt, the reigning world record holder at 100m and 200m, left the rest of the field — including British sprinter Marlon Devonish — in his wake in the BUPA Great Manchester 150m event. (more…)

Don’t get the wrong idea by the title. The world’s fastest man is not being signed by Real Madrid. Instead, the Jamaican is apparently heading to Madrid to work with Reals players on their speed.  Quick side note, can you even imagine if the dude had any sort of soccer skills? If he could just strike a ball and finish…just the thought of that is scary. Anyway, gotta be pretty cool for Real madrid to get to train and take some pointers from the worlds fastest man.
