wii-punchout

If the original Nintendo was a part of your childhood, then you no doubt rang up many hours on Mike Tyson’s Punchout. Looks like Nintendo is getting ready to drop an updated version for the Wii in 2009. Mike Tyson might be missing from the game, but I can not wait for this one.  Check out the trailer after the jump.

Pro Evolution 2009

I’ve made it clear that I tend to prefer FIFA when it comes to my soccer video game of choice. But I know way too many people that feel differently and prefer Pro Evolution. With both set to drop soon, I have a feeling I’m going to be giving them both some serious time. As for Pro Evolution 2009, it looks like they finally have the right to Manchester United and Liverpool and that they have scored an exclusive four year deal with The Champions League.  Pro Evolution 2009 drops on November 11 in North America for the 360, PS3, PS2, PC, and PSP. The Wii version will be out in early 2009. See the brand new Pro Evo trailer after the jump.

FIFA Soccer 09 - Maurice Edu Style

Filed under: Maurice Edu, Video Games, Videos

While it may not be “Toronto FC midfielder” anymore, it’s still sick to see one of our own behind the scenes of a game that’s payed such a huge part in our lives.

Tiger Woods CAN Walk On Water In 2009

Filed under: Tiger Woods, Video Games, Videos

Yeah, maybe it was a glitch in the 2008 version of Tiger Wood’s PGA Tour.

Not this year.  Tiger Wood’s PGA Tour 2009 has just a bit more than last years version.

FIFA 2009

fifa-2009-1

Looks like the folks over at Complex got to experience FIFA 2009 at an advance showcase. I have to admit that I have been a FIFA fan for years, even when everyone else had moved on to Pro Evolution. I stayed true to FIFA and as a result got ridiculed by my boys who kept reminding me that Pro Evolution was way better. Anyhow, according to the folks over at Complex, FIFA 2009 seems to not only have caught up to the Pro Evo games, but has surpassed them. That’s what I’m talking about. Redemption comes in many ways, and this just might be my daily dose of it. Head here for the Complex review. More images after the jump.
