Project Natal for XBox 360

E3 is taking place here in Los Angeles right now, so announcements from the video game industry should be heavy this week. One of the craziest has to be Project Natal for XBox 360. Building on what the Wii has been able to achieve, Project Natal goes one step further and eliminates the need for a controller.

Microsoft has sold more than 30 million XBOXs

This past week, Microsoft announced a major milestone for its Xbox 360 console. According to Redmond, the 360 has officially surpassed the 30 million sales mark. To see how that stacks up against the competition, Sony’s PlayStation 3 has sold around 21.3 million units and Nintendo has pushed out about 50.4 million Wii consoles.

Tony Hawk Ride

Looks like my next video game related purchase is going to have to be this Tony Hawk skateboard that will be available for the Wii, Playstation 3 and the XBox. This skateboard can control the entire video game and uses a “combination of accelerometers and motion sensors.” More info will be available at the official site as of June 2.
