WPS Regular Season Champs Rewarded In Playoffs
The Women's Professional Soccer league has announced a different playoff format for the upcoming season that will reward the regular season Champions with a spot in the WPS Finals and home field advantage, similar to the format used in Australian A - League.

Marta is an LA Sol
Marta, a three-time FIFA player of the year, is joining the new women's league in the United States. The 22-year-old Brazilian striker said Monday she will sign a three-year contract to play for the Los Angeles Sol of the Women's Professional Soccer league.

Puma Signs $10 Million Deal With WPS
According to the Wall Street Journal, the upcoming Women's Professional Soccer League has finalized a three year deal with Puma, paying $10 Million to become the official equipment sponsor.
