Wow..

This has been a pretty crazy day here in Los Angeles.  Wild fires have popped up everywhere from Corona up to Sylmar. The house I grew up in, where my folks still live, is only 3 or 4 miles from one of the fires, so we are keeping a close eye on things. The magnitude of what is going on is staggering, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

I’ve been looking at some old MLS footage today, and I happened to come across this video of Peter Vermes and the old shootout. To be honest, I completely forgot about the shootout. Seems like those days were a lifetime ago. Pretty amazing how far the league and sport have come.

According to The Gaurdian, CR7 thinks that it’s about time for a pay raise.  Seems he doesn’t his weekly salary of £120,000 or so isn’t enough. Apparently his management has been in Manchester and they feel that an improved offer needs to made even though he still has three and ahalf years left on his contract. If they do make CRon a better offer, I can’t even imagine what his weekly wages would go up tp.

Off of their 3rd album, this song has some definite experimental sounds that are addicting to the ear. Rich in texture this song is great for a Saturday.
