The former Football Association chief executive David Davies believes that Fabio Capello may be in breach of contract after the England manager openly challenged the decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy.
Speaking to the BBC’s Breakfast Time show on Monday morning, Davies said that Capello, who reportedly earns £6m a year as manager of the national side, may have breached his contract with his comments and could face action from the FA.
“It is being taken very seriously by the FA,” Davies said. “You have to ask what his motive is. You have to suspect he wants to prevent John Terry retiring as a player before Euro 2012, but there are wider issues.
“You could have what some of the media are calling a morality circus while England are trying to win the second major tournament in football.
“A contract may have been breached, there is strong leadership now at the FA from David Bernstein. Last week he wasn’t slow to take things forward and he may not be slow to do so now.”

I think its a bad sign of a commercial if I have no idea what its about for the first 45 seconds … But, then again, its probably a good sign of a commercial if in the first 5 seconds it gets me to stop everything that I am doing to watch it… and then immediately after its over I search youtube to find it. Its a great sign when the next 10 posts on my facebook immediately after it ends says something about Fiat.

The UEFA Champions League returns on February 14th. For the knockout stage, adidas is releasing their Munich Final 2012 ball. As opposed to previous years where the final match ball was reserved for only the actual final, this year the ball will be used starting in the knockout round and used all the way through the remainder of the competition. The ball comes in a White/Slime/Cyan/Indigo colorway and features the iconic star layout. As would be expected, the adidas Finale Munich 12 ball has received the highest FIFA rating for weight, water uptake, shape and size retention.
NBC launched its “Brotherhood Of Man” network promo today during the Super Bowl pregame show with one of my top five characters on television, 30 Rock’s Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) throwing a Super Bowl party for the staff that doubles as the beginning of Broadway style promo… smash cut to the casts from a host of other NBC shows, The Office, Community, Parks and Rec, Today, joining in on the singing and dancing including, Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty from their newest big push show Smash.
The track they are singing is “The Brotherhood of Man” from How to Succeed in Business Without Trying.
Hilarity ensues.
*I saw the cast of Community in this… does it mean that show is coming back? or that they filmed this months ago before they canceled it?
